What Happened to ManCrunch?
ManCrunch launched around 2009 as a gay dating and hookup site, and by our records it came out of the same company later known for Ashley Madison. Its real claim to fame was a single 2010 Super Bowl commercial, two men kissing on a couch, that CBS refused to air. The rejection earned ManCrunch a burst of national press, and plenty of people suspected the tiny site had counted on exactly that free publicity.
The attention never turned into a real user base. Grindr and the bigger apps owned gay hookups, ManCrunch faded, and the site eventually stopped running altogether. Today mancrunch.com loads nothing of its own, it redirects straight to Ashley Madison, the old parent quietly funneling whatever traffic the name still pulls toward a sibling that is very much alive.
