Is it okay to Lie on my Profile?
There’s very little that’s interesting about me. I’m finding it very hard to connect with women on dating sites and have thought of lying on my dating profile to make myself appear more enticing. What are the drawbacks and do you think I should do it?

In this case, however, there can be some benefit to telling a few little white lies. It all depends on what you’re ultimately looking to gain by using the hookup/dating site. If your goal is to find someone that will remain in your life long term, you should probably be honest up front. This will save you, and your potential partner, from certain heartache in the future. If, on the other hand, all you’re looking for is a one night stand, then fibbing can and probably will be your friend. As long as you can keep up the charade long enough to achieve your goals. Claiming to have certain similar interests will most likely help you get the conversation started. Don’t go overboard and pretend to be someone entirely different from who you really are.
I’m probably going to get flamed by a lot of the other readers for advising you to straight out lie, but keep in mind, my intentions here are to aid you in every way I can to help you successfully hook up. Morals sometimes, like in this case, have to take a back seat.
