— In-Depth Sudy App Review —
Perhaps you are a wealthy man (or woman) seeking the company of a young attractive partner.
Maybe you are the young and attractive individual who is seeking the material benefit that comes from accompanying a wealthy sugar daddy or mommy.
In either of these cases, a sugar daddy dating platform can be the solution. Sudy is one of those platforms. Its tagline, “sugar your life,” describes quite succinctly its mission.
Sudy does an excellent job at creating an image for their platform as it being “the place” for the attractive and the wealthy to meet. However, you may be wondering if their real-world results match their claims.
— Available Platforms —
Sudy can be accessed on your desktop browser as well as through native mobile apps available for Android and iOS devices. All three of these versions we found to work smoothly and were free of any technical issues.
The style of Sudy’s user interface is clean and stylish. Its navigation is intuitive and most people will find it easy to use.
— Who Uses Sudy? —
When it comes to any dating or hookup platform, the results that you can expect from it are based not only on the technical specs of the platform, but also on the genuineness, size, and composition of its membership.
In the case of Sudy, as of early 2018, it has just over 3 million registered users. The gender ratio is an impressive four women for every man. Based on external traffic analytics and Sudy’s own public statements, we deduced that approximately 20 percent of its membership is active — visiting the site on multiple occasions in a given month.
Based solely on such statistics, Sudy could be categorized as being an active platform with plenty of potential for those seeking a “sugar” lifestyle.
— Registration Process —
Registering for an account on Sudy is fast and simple. New users are required to register their name, annual income, occupation, and a valid email address. Additionally, they must also write a few lines in an “About Me” section. Our advice here would be to write three or four lines about yourself using a creative style that helps to establish your personality.
As part of Sudy’s efforts to keep their membership base genuine, the platform requires you to upload a profile image. You cannot complete the registration process until you upload an image of yourself.
— Advanced Verification System —
One of the aspects about Sudy that we were impressed with was its advanced verification system. Although this is an optional feature, we would highly recommend all users of Sudy to take advantage of it.
It consists of uploading an image of yourself — separate from the one that you are using for your profile — so that human employees of Sudy can validate its authenticity. This image must consist of a selfie showing you holding up a sign on which you wrote the word “Sudy.”
In 12 to 36 hours — based on the experience of our testers — your image will be reviewed. If it is deemed legitimate, your account will receive a verification moniker.
We found that having a verification badge on your profile increases the response from other members nearly threefold.
— Discovery Features —
Sudy offers four discovery features to help sugar daddies and sugar babies find each other.
One is called “Tapit.” Essentially this is the well-known swipe-style discovery mechanism found on many dating platforms. You are fed a stream of profiles that the Sudy algorithm has determined to match the attributes that you are seeking in a partner. You then swipe right to “like” the profile or swipe left to “pass.” When both people mutually like each other, they are both notified and they can then engage in a private conversation.
The second discovery feature is called “Nearby.” This presents the user with a list of corresponding sugar babies or sugar daddies that are near their geographic location. You could set the radius of this search as far or as close as you like.
The remaining two discovery features are more abstract. One is the “Moments” feature. This allows users to post images highlighting their life and experiences with the purpose of visually presenting their personality and lifestyle. Other members can then comment on the pics or be inspired to reach out with a message. The “Rankings” feature allows you to view members based on how they have been rated by other members and their own level of interaction on the platform.
Of these four methods, we found the “Tapit” and “Nearby” features to be the most fruitful.
— Cost —
Both aspiring sugar daddies and sugar babies can register on Sudy for free. The free membership, however, is extremely limited when it comes to communication and messaging. In order for sugar daddies to send or respond to messages, they must upgrade to a premium subscription. Sugar babies are extended the courtesy of free messaging provided that they have gone through the verification process beforehand. Otherwise, Sugar Babies have to pay for a subscription as well.
Subscription packages are sold in one-, two-, and six-month increments. Sugar daddies are charged $69.99, $169.99, and $249.99, respectively.
Sugar babies are charged $14.99, $34.99, and $49.99 for the same packages.
It is important to note that this distinction in pricing is based on the role of each member, not their gender. In other words, if a male enrolls as a sugar baby seeking the patronage of a sugar mommy or a gay sugar daddy, he will be charged the lower sugar baby rate. Likewise, if a woman enrolls as a sugar mommy seeking a male or female sugar baby, she will be charged the sugar daddy rate.
