40PlusShag

40PlusShag leans on a cheeky British mature angle, over-40s looking for a shag, but its own age warning is refreshingly blunt about what it actually is. It states in plain terms that the site uses fictitious profiles and animators for entertainment, and that real-world meetings with them are not possible. So this is not a hookup site, it is a UK fantasy chat service with a 40-plus theme. Registration is free, and unlike a lot of these sites there is no monthly subscription, but every message you send costs a credit that you buy in advance. It is run by a Bristol company, Briture Highland Media, and the current site has only been going since around 2023. Below is how 40PlusShag works, what it costs, and what other people made of it. Package Costs

40PlusShag runs on credits, and to its credit there is no auto renewing subscription lurking in the background. The site says all payments are one-off and non-recurring, so you are not signing up to a monthly charge. What you are doing is buying credits and spending one per message. The packs are priced in pounds and run from about £15.99 for 8 credits up to £249.99 for 250, which works out to somewhere between one and two pounds a message depending on the pack. Credits expire after a few months if unused, and the site is a little inconsistent about whether that is three or six. There is a fourteen day cooling off window for unused credits, after which purchases are non-refundable.

40PlusShag is operated by Briture Highland Media Ltd, a company based in Bristol in the UK. Because the profiles are animators rather than real members and meeting them is not possible, this is paid entertainment rather than a genuine dating site, so the running cost is really how much you are willing to spend on the chat itself.
