BeFlirty
BeFlirty sells romance rather than a same night meet. The line above the sign up box reads “Light a spark of romance”, the button under it reads “Sign up for free!”, and the browser tab calls it a “Flirty Dating Site to Meet Local Singles”. Free is real up to a point. The site’s own terms promise “no fee payable to access the Services as a Guest or as a Free Member”, then put full access behind a paid subscription package.
Four Ways to Fill In the Sign Up Form
The sign up panel is one screen: age 18 to 78, location, email, password. The “I am” list carries four options, a man looking for a woman, a woman looking for a man, a man looking for a man and a woman looking for a woman. A separate “Select your role” dropdown offers Rather not say, Top, Versatile, Bottom, Versatop and Versabottom.
Two consent boxes sit under the fields, one for the privacy policy including profiling, one for the terms bundled with newsletters and offers, and the second arrives already ticked. What is sold after that is a membership, not a balance of credits or coins.

BeFlirty is pitched at flirting and dating rather than a meet tonight. If that is not the errand you are on, this is the list we send people to instead.

Four shots of the site: the homepage, a second homepage view, the Find a Date Online panel and the Local Singles panel. Open the first one full size to read the wording around the sign up box.
From the Free Button to a Monthly Charge
The free side is set out in the terms: “no fee payable to access the Services as a Guest or as a Free Member”, followed immediately by the limit, that free access “will only give you limited access to features and areas of the Services” and that full access requires a subscription package. The same document adds that paid extras sit alongside it, in the form of “additional packages that allow you to send a specified number of messages”.
Renewal is the default and the billing policy says so plainly: “Upon purchase of a membership plan you agree to automatic renewal billing.” A short plan does not simply expire. In their words, “once a 3 Day subscription you’ve chosen comes to an end it will automatically convert to our monthly membership plan for which you will be charged a monthly fee unless canceled”, and a monthly plan renews “for a period of time equal to that initially chosen and at the same rate”.
How long the trial itself runs is not fixed. The policy says the length “may vary from three (3) to seven (7) days” depending on your bank and the payment method, while the price per day stays put. It also reserves a different shape entirely, “a 1 (one) month pay-as-you-go membership package, where the user is billed 1/30 of monthly membership on a daily basis until the subscription is canceled by the user”.
Two clauses cover a card that will not stretch. If there are insufficient funds, the site reserves the right to charge for a shorter subscription period, with the length and the price depending on what is available on the card. Separately, some users are asked to verify a card by a debit of “a small, random amount of $0.5 to $5”, which the policy says is returned within three to five days.
Payment by telephone exists as well. The terms carry a section headed “PAYMENT PROCESSING VIA MAIL ORDER TELEPHONE ORDER (MOTO)”, and describe it as a service that “allows users to make payments by phone through our dedicated team”.
The Company Behind It, and What Its Documents Say
Section 1 of the terms names the company without being asked. It says the site “is operated by Alterweb Kft. registered at 12 Petőfi Sándor utca, 2161 Csomád, Hungary”, and a second line adds “You are entering into this agreement with Alterweb Kft.” The company record for Alterweb Kft. gives company number 13 09 216386, tax number 27488867-2-13 and a seat at Petőfi Sándor utca 12 in 2161 Csomád. The Hungarian company register entry puts the founding year at 2021 and the main activity at other information technology services. The address on both matches the address in the terms.
Two dates are worth having side by side. The registry record for beflirty.com puts the domain’s registration at 7 September 2017. Alterweb Kft. was entered on the Hungarian register with a founding year of 2021.
BeFlirty is not the only brand pointing at that address. The terms of TenderMeetup.com name the same operator at the same Csomád address, on the same platform build. Three more sites on that build have pages here: MilfBerry, RomanticMoms and NaughtyFever, each naming a different operator in its own paperwork.
Immediately after the operator line, the terms add this: “We may use internal technical accounts solely for the purposes of quality assurance, security testing, and feature optimization. These technical accounts are used for internal maintenance and are not intended for social interaction with users.”
Refunds are stated twice and not identically. The billing policy says “No refund will be made once the subscription is in use, as per our Terms of Use, and your access to the service will continue until the end of the subscription”. The terms say “We do not issue refunds unless there are extenuating circumstances that we feel warrant” an exception, and set a window: “All disputes must be raised within three (3) months of the disputed transaction occurring.” Purchases made through Apple’s iTunes service are excluded from refunds altogether.
There is also a 14 day statutory cancellation right in the terms, with a definition attached to it. Use of the service, which ends that right, means “sending any communication to another user, actively conducting searches of user profiles, viewing photos of other members, or making changes to your profile”.
Six Questions About BeFlirty, Answered From Its Own Documents
Is BeFlirty free?
Signing up costs nothing. The terms state there is “no fee payable to access the Services as a Guest or as a Free Member”, and the homepage button says “Sign up for free!” The same clause sets the boundary in the next sentence: a Guest or Free Member gets “limited access to features and areas of the Services”, and “Full access will require you to upgrade to become a Full Member, by paying for a subscription package.”
The terms do not itemise which features fall on which side of that line, so the free account exists and its ceiling is defined by the site rather than published as a list. There is also a second paid layer described in the terms, additional packages that buy a set number of messages, sold on top of a subscription rather than instead of one.
What happens after the BeFlirty trial ends?
It becomes a monthly subscription unless you stop it. The billing policy states that when “a 3 Day subscription you’ve chosen comes to an end it will automatically convert to our monthly membership plan for which you will be charged a monthly fee unless canceled”. A monthly plan then renews for the same length at the same rate on the same terms.
The trial is not a fixed length either. The policy says the period “may vary from three (3) to seven (7) days” depending on your bank and the payment method used, with the daily price unchanged. So the date the first monthly charge lands is not knowable from the documents in advance, which makes the renewal date shown in the account the only reliable one.
How do you cancel BeFlirty?
The two documents point at two places. The terms send members to the “My Account” section and a link marked “Remove Your Account”. The billing policy points somewhere else, asking members to visit the “My Settings” page to manage a subscription. The terms print a telephone number, +44 3444824945, and the address support@beflirty.com, twice over, in the cancellation section and again in the complaints section.
On timing, the billing policy says a renewal “will only take effect at the end of the payment period and not before”, and that repeat billing can be stopped “at any time before the date of the recurring payment”. Add on features carry the same rule, worded as cancelling “before the collection date”. In practice that means the day before your renewal date is the last day the decision is yours.
Who runs BeFlirty?
Alterweb Kft., a Hungarian company. The site names it in section 1 of its own terms, registered at 12 Petőfi Sándor utca, 2161 Csomád, and repeats it in the copyright line at the foot of every legal page.
The Hungarian company register carries a company of that name at that exact address, with company number 13 09 216386, tax number 27488867-2-13, a founding year of 2021 and a main activity of other information technology services. TenderMeetup.com names the same company at the same address in its terms.
Is there a BeFlirty app?
No. There is no BeFlirty app on Google Play or the App Store, so the site is used through a mobile or desktop browser and there is nothing to install.
That also means no store subscription layer. The membership is bought and cancelled on the website itself, through the account pages the terms and billing policy name, or by telephone or email through the support contacts the terms print.
Does BeFlirty give refunds?
The two documents put it differently and both are current. The billing policy takes a flat position: no refund once the subscription is in use, with access continuing to the end of the paid period. The terms allow an exception, saying refunds are not issued “unless there are extenuating circumstances that we feel warrant” one, and set a deadline of three months from the transaction for raising any dispute. Anything bought through Apple’s iTunes service is excluded.
Separately, the terms grant a 14 day statutory cancellation right and then define what forfeits it: sending any message to another user, running searches of profiles, looking at other members’ photos, or editing your own profile. The right and that definition sit in the same clause of the terms, so they are read together.
Add What You Know
Vote in the poll near the top, then use the comment box below for the detail a document cannot give anyone.
The homepage sells romance and the form asks for a role before it asks much else, so say which one the site inside turned out to be. If you bought one of the message packages that sit on top of a subscription, say what the messages got you. The second consent box arrives already ticked and it covers newsletters and offers, so say what turned up in your inbox after that. And if you paid by phone through their MOTO desk, put that in too.

So I joined beflirty in hopes of finding someone to spend some time with. I wasn’t necessarily looking for a casual fling. I would have been happy just meeting someone to hang out with and chill. I had absolutely no success in meeting a single girl. It felt as if the women on this site were not interested in actually getting together instead they wanted to keep the conversation online. After some difficulties, I was finally able to cancel my membership.
