What set BigBoobsDirect apart was how hard it reached into your wallet. A premium membership ran €41.75 a month on a card, or a brutal €59.73 a month if you let it bill you by SMS. On top of that it sold bolt-ons, little recurring charges just to unlock basic actions. You paid €8.95 a month to contact people, €5.96 to reply, and €3.57 to see who had read your messages. Read that back. You were paying extra every month to do the things a dating site is supposed to let you do in the first place.
A site like that does not really shut down so much as get switched off. Once the network stopped squeezing money out of the skin, the domain lapsed and nobody renewed it. No announcement, no refund window, nothing.
