What Happened to ClubForePlay?

ClubForePlay ran from 2003 as a swinger and polyamory dating site, open to straight, gay and lesbian members, with an almost entirely American crowd. It was a paid membership site billed through CCBill, charging around 18 euros a month, and it never launched a mobile app.

There was no shutdown announcement and no farewell page. The domain still exists on paper but no web server answers on it any more, so the site simply stopped loading. That is the usual ending for a small independent paysite: the operator stops paying for hosting and the lights go off without anyone being told. If you had a recurring CCBill subscription with them, check your card statement, because a dead site does not always mean a cancelled rebill.
