EliteBedMate

EliteBedMate is about as blunt as a dating site gets. The logo is in lipstick red, the tagline is find bed partners within minutes, and the signup asks your gender with three buttons: male, female, couple. Nobody is pretending this is about long walks.

It has been running since around 2020, and unlike a lot of sites in this bracket it will tell you who is billing you if you go looking. What it will not tell you up front is the price, and there is one thing about how it is built that is worth understanding before you judge the member count.

Below is who actually operates it, what platform it runs on, what the free tier really includes, and what we could and could not verify. Cast your vote and add your own experience at the bottom.

Traffic Statistics

We are not publishing a third-party traffic estimate for EliteBedMate, because the estimate services return nothing for this domain that we would stand behind, and a number we cannot defend is worth less than an honest blank.

What is directly verifiable instead:
The billing entity is named in full, with a Maltese company number that can be checked against the Malta Business Registry
It runs on the HubPeople platform, confirmed by its asset URLs and a partner ID in its own member-area links
The homepage’s 4 million member claim is global and self-reported, not audited, and not a count of people near you

The important bit: it is a skin, and we can prove it

EliteBedMate is a whitelabel. That is not an insult and it is not a scandal, it is simply how a large slice of this industry works: one company builds and runs the platform, and partners put their own branding on the front. What is unusual here is that you can verify it rather than guess.

Its member area loads from the HubPeople content network and its own links carry a partner ID. Interestingly, that is the same underlying platform as Gaydar, which we reviewed separately. The two sites share interface strings right down to an identical typo in the membership feature list. Different brands, different billing companies, same engine underneath.

The practical consequences for you are worth being clear about, and they cut both ways.

In its favour: a platform used by multiple established brands tends to be better maintained than something a small operator bolted together. The messaging, moderation tooling and search all come from a codebase with real investment behind it.

Against it: the branding is the wrapper, not the product. A 4 million member figure describes a network-scale audience, not the number of people in your town who opened the site this week. When you judge EliteBedMate, judge whether the people you actually find nearby are responsive. Do not judge the logo.

Who runs it

This is the part where most sites in this category go quiet, and EliteBedMate does not.

The billing terms name Ambiance Ltd, registered at Businesslabs, Level 1, Dun Karm Street, Birkirkara BKR 9037, Malta, with company number C93129, a published email address and a UK contact number. The service is governed by Maltese law.

A named company with a registration number is a meaningful step above the anonymous operators we run into constantly, because it means there is an accountable legal entity if something goes wrong with a payment. It does not tell you the site will suit you. It tells you there is somebody to complain to.

How it works and what free actually gets you

Registration is a five-step wizard and it does not ask for a card. You pick your gender, who you are looking for, and work through a short profile.

The site states its own model plainly on the homepage: it is free to join, meet up, view media and contact members, and you become a paying member when you want unrestricted private communication. The platform’s own membership feature list backs that up. Free accounts can send a limited number of private messages. Paid accounts get unlimited private messaging, plus priority placement in search and in the feed, and priority moderation of their posts.

So the honest summary is that the paywall sits exactly where it sits on almost every site of this type: at sustained conversation. You can look, and you can start talking. Keeping the conversation going is what costs money. That is a fairer arrangement than sites that block the very first message, and it is a long way from genuinely free.

Note that priority placement in search is a paid perk, which means visibility on the site is partly bought. Worth knowing when you wonder why certain profiles keep appearing.

Package Costs

EliteBedMate does not publish its prices before you register, so we are not going to quote figures we cannot currently verify.

Be careful with any euro figures you find quoted for EliteBedMate elsewhere. The site changed platform in recent years, and older price lists circulating online, along with payment methods like Paysafecard, do not appear anywhere in its current billing information.

What we can tell you about the money:
Joining, browsing and making initial contact are free
A paid membership is required for unrestricted private messaging
Paid membership also buys priority placement in search and in the feed
The site states you can cancel at any time
The billing entity is Ambiance Ltd in Malta, so charges on your statement will relate to that company rather than to the brand name

Whatever you sign up to on any dating platform, read the renewal terms before you enter a card. This is not a hypothetical concern in this industry: in August 2025 the FTC announced that Match Group agreed to pay 14 million dollars and permanently stop deceptive advertising, cancellation and billing practices. That was the largest company in the business.

For context on paying at all, Pew Research Center found that about 35 percent of Americans who have used a dating site or app have paid for one.

EliteBedMate FAQ

Is EliteBedMate legit?

It runs on an established platform, and its billing terms name a real company: Ambiance Ltd in Malta, company number C93129, with a published email and phone number. That makes it traceable and accountable, which is more than many sites in this category offer. Whether it delivers what you want is a separate question, and that is what the poll and comments below are for.

Is EliteBedMate free?

Partly. The site says joining, meeting up, viewing media and contacting members are free, and that you pay when you want unrestricted private communication. So you can start a conversation without paying, but sustaining one requires a membership.

How much does EliteBedMate cost?

The site does not publish prices before registration and we are not going to guess. Older euro price lists circulate online, but the site has since changed platform and those figures no longer appear in its billing information, so treat them as out of date.

Who owns EliteBedMate?

The billing terms name Ambiance Ltd, Businesslabs, Level 1, Dun Karm Street, Birkirkara BKR 9037, Malta, company number C93129, governed by Maltese law.

Is EliteBedMate a whitelabel?

Yes. It runs as a partner skin on the HubPeople platform, which its asset URLs and partner ID confirm. That is a completely normal arrangement in this industry, and the same platform runs other long-established dating brands. It does mean the branding is a wrapper over shared machinery.

Does EliteBedMate really have 4 million members?

That figure is on its homepage, and it is global, self-reported and unaudited. It is not a count of active members near you. Judge the site on whether people in your area actually reply.

Does EliteBedMate accept couples?

Yes. The signup lets you register as a couple and search for couples, alongside male and female options.

Does EliteBedMate have an app?

No. There is no app-store download. It runs in a browser.
