Paying For It, and What Happens If the Card Is Short
Billing runs on automatic renewal and the documents say so in several places. The terms put it in their own capitals: “THIS MEANS THAT THE MINIMUM DURATION OF YOUR CONTRACT WILL BE FOR THE INITIAL PERIOD YOU SELECT (E.G. 1 MONTH), AND THIS WILL AUTOMATICALLY RENEW UNTIL YOU CANCEL YOUR SERVICE.”
A trial does not renew as a trial. The Billing Policy states that once a 3 Day subscription “comes to an end it will automatically convert to our monthly membership plan for which you will be charged a monthly fee unless cancelled”. The same document adds that the trial length itself can move: “a length of your trial period may vary from three (3) days to seven (7) days” depending on your bank and payment method.
Two clauses cover a card that will not pay. The Billing Policy reserves the right to “charge you for the shorter subscription period” when there is not enough money on the account, with the period and the price both depending on what is available. The terms add that if a payment is declined for insufficient funds they may still grant full access for the intended period, then try the card again at the end of it.
Separately, some accounts get a card check. The terms describe debiting “a small, random amount of $0.5 to $5 (or its equivalent in local currency)”, refunded within 3 to 5 days once the verification is complete.
Refunds, Cancelling, and the Company Named on the Terms
The Billing Policy states: “No refund will be made once the subscription is in use as per our Terms of Use, and your access to the service will not stop until the end of the subscription so that you are able to fully enjoy FreeSexMatch.”
The Terms of Use that sentence points at carry a section headed “14 DAY CANCELLATION RIGHT (FOR RESIDENTS OF UK AND EU ONLY)”: “if you are resident within the UK or EU you can cancel the agreement created through your acceptance of these Terms of Use within 14 days after the confirmation of your subscription to any Services. You will receive a pro-rated refund based on your usage of the Service.” A later clause puts a window on complaints, requiring that disputes “must be raised within three (3) months of the disputed transaction occurring”.
The cancellation clause attaches two conditions. Notice “shall take effect upon receipt by us”, so the date that counts is the day it lands rather than the day it is sent. And a cancellation started by anyone other than the account holder does not stop the money: “A cancellation initiated by any other party or entity, will not be considered a valid cancellation and you will continue to be charged.”
Two more clauses describe the machinery behind the accounts and the messages. On accounts, the terms say: “We may use internal technical accounts solely for the purposes of quality assurance, security testing, and feature optimization. These accounts do not represent actual users.” On messages, a moderation clause reserves the right to stop delivery or to “replace the non-compliant parts with standard system templates to maintain the integrity of the communication”.
The company named in the terms appears on the public register under the same address. The Romanian trade register entry for Flashlight Solutions LTD SRL gives CUI 43766690 and register number J2021002978409, incorporated on 19 February 2021 and currently active, with a registered seat on Soseaua Morarilor matching the street, floor and room printed in the terms. The domain is far older than the company: the Verisign registry record dates freesexmatch.com to 30 November 2000. Two separate facts about two separate things.
FreeSexMatch runs on the same platform as MilfBerry, RomanticMoms and NaughtyFever, sharing the /staticPage/ document paths, and it prints the same support telephone number as MilfBerry. The registered operators are not the same and nothing in the documents links the companies. One more thing visible in the source: the homepage of freesexmatch.com names freesexmatch.net in its canonical tag.

Is FreeSexMatch actually free?
Joining costs nothing. Section 4(A) of the terms is headed GUEST/FREE MEMBER FEES / CHARGES / “JOIN FOR FREE” and states there is no fee payable to access the services as a Guest or as a Free Member. The site then glosses its own badge: seeing “JOIN FOR FREE” means you can sign up at no charge, but you will have limited access to features and areas of the service, and full access requires a Full Membership. So the free account is real, and it is one of three tiers rather than the whole product.
Can you message anyone on FreeSexMatch without paying?
Not according to their terms. Section 3 states that a member who is not a subscriber will not be able to use all the features and services on the website, and that subscribers and non-subscribing members alike will not be able to use the site to communicate with that person. The block runs both ways, so a paying member cannot write to a free one either. Can you get a refund from FreeSexMatch?
Two of their documents cover refunds. The Billing Policy says no refund will be made once a subscription is in use, “as per our Terms of Use”, and that access continues to the end of the paid period.
