Gepime

Open gepime.com from outside Bulgaria and it greets you in English. It sets its language to English on the first load, offers a Български toggle for the other direction, and fills in the country and city boxes on the sign-up panel from wherever you happen to be connecting. The English only goes so far, though. The first two boxes you type into are still labelled Email адрес and Парола, and the line above the Google button still reads или използвайте.

Underneath the translation it is a Bulgarian site. Chapter 1.1 of the terms calls it a resource “designed to enable its users to make contact with each other with a precisely defined goal”, and the clause names that goal as finding a sexual partner. The privacy policy puts it more mildly: “Gepime is an adult dating site and we provide this service by operating a social network that offers users the opportunity to connect with our global community of users.” Signing up costs nothing, and almost nothing is visible until you have.

How Busy Gepime Is, and Where Its Visitors Are

HypeStat estimates roughly 1.79 million visits a month and puts 88.12% of them in Bulgaria. Spain follows at 6.65%, then North Macedonia at 1.83% and the United Kingdom at 1.74%.

The same profile gives 24.99 pages per visit, an average visit of 19 minutes 8 seconds and a bounce rate of 13.86%. Those are third-party model estimates, not counted visits. Traffic estimates for gepime.com

The site’s own Bulgarian landing page prints a counter reading 3,000,000+ users, which is its claim about itself, and runs a live tally of who is online, split into men and women.

What the Free Side Covers, and What Sits Behind a Login

Chapter 5 names four services that registration alone covers, and says the free services “include” them rather than closing the list. Browsing is walled off before that: two clauses of the same chapter repeat that “Profiles posted on Gepime can only be viewed by registered users.”

Chapter 6 covers what costs extra. A paid service “can be one-time or on a subscription basis for a certain period”, and “All prices include VAT”. The one the terms name is Unlimited Letter Writing, described as lifting gender, age and registration-date restrictions “within up to 1000 messages to 200 unique users”. The paid layer sits behind an account login.

There is also a payment route by text message. Chapter 3.3 says paying by SMS creates a separate contract that “enters into force after entering the code received by the subscriber”, and lapses if the code is not entered within a week.

Getting out happens on the site itself, and no third-party billing desk is named anywhere in the documents. Chapter 11 says either party may end the contract “with one week’s notice to the other party”, Chapter 10.3 says you can end it “by deleting your profile”, and Chapter 11.4 adds that the company “has the right to request confirmation of termination of the contract by sending an SMS message from the user”.

Reading the Terms, Chapter by Chapter

The operator is named, and the number resolves. Chapter 1.1 of the terms of use names УИСДАМ ЕООД, unified identification code 160063732, at an address in Plovdiv. That code returns the same company at the same street in the Bulgarian Trade Register, with Srebrin Elisavetov Vatralov listed as manager and sole capital owner. Verisign’s registry record dates the domain to 3 June 2005 and runs it to 2035.

The translation stops before the paperwork does. Switching the site into Bulgarian turns the terms of use, the personal data policy and the cookie policy into Bulgarian documents. The age verification policy and the anti sex trafficking page stay in English in both settings, so two of the five documents have no Bulgarian version at all.

Two documents give different ages, and one gives two in a row. The privacy policy says: “You can only become a member of Gepime or use its features only if you are over 18 years old.” Chapter 2.1 of the terms, describing the registration form, says this instead: “If the user is a minor, he also declares the consent of a parent or tutor. Use of Gepime by minors is strictly prohibited.” Those two sentences sit next to each other in the same paragraph. Chapters 5.3 and 7.4 then twice give the company a right, rather than an obligation, to keep adult material from under-18s.

A refund mechanism in one chapter, and a right to keep the unused balance in another. Chapter 6.4: “If it is necessary to refund an amount paid by card by the user, the corresponding amount will be refunded through a card transaction on the same card account of the user”. Chapter 11.5: “The Company has the right not to refund the amount of the remaining active period of the paid subscription.”

A subscription with no renewal terms written down. The terms say a paid service can be used one-time or on a subscription basis for a certain period. They do not set out renewal terms anywhere. The application that runs the site does call two account endpoints named recurring options and recurring cancel, so a recurring facility exists in the product that the paperwork does not describe.

Who is on the other end, in their words. Chapter 9.1 says the company “is not responsible for the content of the published profiles, for their truthfulness and relevance”, and that where a user suffers damage as a result, “the responsibility for this lies with the user who published it”. An opt-in identity check through a third party puts a badge on a profile once confirmed, which the age verification page calls “a safety measure that lowers the risk of fake profiles and creates accountability among members of our community”.

Six Things People Ask About Gepime

What is Gepime?

A Bulgarian dating and chat site that has been at the same web address since 2005. It runs in two languages, and from outside Bulgaria it opens in English with a toggle to Bulgarian, although the translation was never finished: several form labels remain in Bulgarian whichever setting you choose, and two of the five legal documents exist in English only. The homepage tags itself as adult material. Its terms describe the purpose as putting members in touch with one another in order to find a sexual partner, and its privacy policy calls it an adult dating site built on a social network. You register, post a profile and browse, and some services sit behind a paid layer on top of that.

Is Gepime only for Bulgaria?

Not formally. It detects where you are connecting from, serves the interface in English, pre-fills your country and city on the sign-up form and offers a Google sign-in.

What it cannot change is who is already inside. HypeStat places 88.12% of visits within Bulgaria and most of the remainder in Spain, North Macedonia and the United Kingdom, which fits a Bulgarian-speaking audience living abroad rather than a foreign one. The contract runs under the law of the Republic of Bulgaria, with disputes going to the competent court there. So the door opens in English and the community behind it is Bulgarian.

How do you register on Gepime?

Through a form on the site. Chapter 2.1 of the terms says a user must complete an electronic registration form and declare agreement with the general terms and conditions. Chapter 2.4 then requires the details to be genuine: members undertake to give accurate data about their identity and legal status, and the company reserves the right to delete the registration of anyone found to have supplied incorrect data. The Bulgarian free-dating page states in its own words that registration is completely free, and the profile grid on it stops at a sign-up button.

Who runs Gepime?

The site names its operator itself, in the first chapter of its terms, as УИСДАМ ЕООД with the unified identification code 160063732 and an address in Plovdiv. Looked up in the Bulgarian Trade Register, that code returns the same name and the same street: a single-member limited liability company, transliterated as UISDAM and previously as WISDOM, with Srebrin Elisavetov Vatralov recorded as both manager and sole capital owner. The site publishes support@gepime.com as its point of contact, and the domain it trades on was first registered on 3 June 2005.

Is Gepime free to join?

Yes, and the Bulgarian landing page says so directly. Chapter 5 of the terms names four services that registration alone covers, and says the free services “include” them: Profiles, My profile, Search and Write a comment. The same chapter defines each one, as browsing members grouped by location and other criteria, posting your own information and photos, filtering by whether a member has photos and what their current status is, and leaving public comments on other members. Chapter 6 then deals separately with services that have to be requested and paid for, so a free account and a paying account are not the same thing here.

How do you contact Gepime?

By email. The address support@gepime.com is carried in the structured data on the homepage as the site’s contact point, and appears again in the privacy policy as the address for exercising data rights such as asking for a copy of your data or asking for it to be deleted. The terms print the company’s Plovdiv address as well. Contact runs the other way too: Chapter 11 gives the company the right to ask a member to confirm that they are ending the contract by sending an SMS.
