Where The Paywall Sits, And What Renews
Section 2 states the free half plainly: “You may register as a member (‘Member’) to use the Service for free… To gain more extensive access to the Service, including the ability to communicate with other Members, you must become a paying subscriber.” The homepage sells the same arrangement as a feature, promising that a visitor can sign up and start browsing compatible profiles in minutes, for free.
Section 3 says the Company “operates some automatic renewal billing plans”, that a subscription “may continue indefinitely until it is cancelled by you”, and that a standard plan renews “at the same rate that you signed up for”.
A trial does not. Subscribers to discounted trials and offers “will be automatically renewed at the end of the initial period at the standard non-discounted Subscription rate… unless they cancel their Subscription before the initial period expires”. Card details are held as a “stored credential”, which the same section says a member consents to by completing a payment.
Getting out does not happen in the account settings. Section 4 routes a cancellation through the support team or the chat bot, and says that on request “you will be sent an email with a link to the Membership Cancellation process”. Cancelling does not delete the member profile, which stays visible to other users of the service.
What The Documents Say In Their Own Words

Section 5 of the terms, in the site’s own capitals: “The Company DOES NOT CONDUCT CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECKS ON ITS USERS NOR DOES IT SCREEN OR ATTEMPT TO VERIFY THE STATEMENTS OF ITS USERS FOR ACCURACY… By using this Service you acknowledge that any User profiles, messages and communication may not be genuine.” Horny Hookups terms and conditions
Section 19 is headed Email Communications and Test Profiles. It says the site does not guarantee that every profile in search belongs to one of its users, and reserves the right to create profiles “which are maintained and managed by our employees (‘Staff Profiles’)”. The stated purpose is checking that the services and their features operate properly, and researching the site’s products.
Section 23, the refund policy, carries two lists of places with special rights, and the lists are not the same. The first names twelve US states, from Arizona to Wisconsin, plus the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland. The line directly beneath it, setting out what those rights are, keeps the twelve states, adds Israel and drops the European entries. Further down, EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland subscribers are told the 14 day cooling off period does not apply because the product is instant access, with “no exceptions”.
Everyone else gets the general rule: “all purchases are final and non-refundable, and there are no refunds or credits for partially used periods, except if the laws applicable in your jurisdiction provide for refunds.” Super Match and Boosts cannot be refunded in part however many are left, and “all refunds will be subject to an administration charge”, with no figure put on it.
Section 23 gives subscribers in those twelve states the right to cancel “at any time prior to midnight of the third business day following the date you subscribed”. California is one of the twelve, and California’s Civil Code sets that same deadline for a dating service contract, says cancellation occurs when the buyer gives written notice by email to an address the seller provided, and requires all money paid back within 10 days of receipt of that notice. California Civil Code 1694.1
Section 20 fixes the law rather than the company: Irish law, the Irish courts, arbitration under the Arbitration Act 2010. The party on the other side of that agreement stays “the Company” from the first line to the last.

Are the people on Horny Hookups real members?
The terms take this up twice. Section 5 states that the operator runs no criminal background checks and neither screens nor attempts to verify what users say about themselves, and it asks a member to accept that profiles, messages and communication may not be genuine.
Section 19 goes further into the search results. It says the site does not guarantee that every profile there belongs to one of its users, and it reserves the right to run profiles managed by its own employees, which it labels Staff Profiles. The purpose it states for them is checking that the service, its features and its functions work properly, and researching its own products and services.
The homepage puts it differently. Its Why Choose Horny Hookups panel lists Verified Profiles as the first reason to join and says every profile is checked. Both statements are the site’s own, on pages anybody can open.
Is Horny Hookups free, or do you have to pay to message anyone?
Joining is free and the homepage sells that: sign up and browse profiles in minutes at no cost. Section 2 of the terms is where the free tier stops. A free member gets some but not all of the features, and the ability to communicate with other members is named as the thing that requires becoming a paying subscriber.

How do you cancel Horny Hookups?
Not with a button in the account settings. Section 4 sends a subscriber to the support team or to the chat bot, and says the request comes back as an email carrying a link to a separate Membership Cancellation process, so the exit runs through the inbox rather than the account page.
On timing, section 3 lets a subscriber cancel at any point and sets no notice period for a standard renewal. Anyone who joined on a discounted trial has a real deadline instead: a trial left running past its initial period renews at the full standard rate rather than the trial rate.
Subscribers in twelve named US states, and in Israel by the second of the two lists in section 23, also get a statutory route, which is to cancel before midnight of the third business day after the day of subscribing. One thing cancelling does not do is take the profile down, which the terms say stays visible to other users of the service.
Who runs Horny Hookups?
The documents do not name anybody. The terms open by defining the parties as the member and “the Company” that operates the service, and that phrase is as specific as it gets. No company name, registration number, registered office or country of incorporation appears in the terms, the privacy policy, the cookie policy, the complaints and content removal policy or the modern slavery statement, which leaves nothing to look up on a company register.
What the paperwork does fix is the law. Section 20 puts the agreement under Irish law, gives the Irish courts exclusive jurisdiction, and offers arbitration under Ireland’s Arbitration Act 2010 as the alternative route for a dispute.
The technology has a name of its own. The members area is built on HubPeople, a white label dating platform that licenses its software and its network to brand owners who run their own brands on top of it, which makes HubPeople the platform behind this site rather than a named operator of it. The domain was registered in May 2015 through IONOS SE and, as with most domains, the registrant is redacted.
Is Horny Hookups a UK site?
It reads as one from the inside. The browser tab on the members area is titled Horny HookUps UK, and the contract is European rather than American: section 20 puts the whole agreement under the laws of Ireland, with the Irish courts and Ireland’s Arbitration Act 2010 named as the places a dispute would land.
The paperwork is written with Americans in it too. The age clause names Alabama, Mississippi, Nebraska and Wyoming as states where the minimum is 21, and the refund policy carries a list of twelve US states whose subscribers are given a three business day cancellation right.
How do you delete your Horny Hookups account?
Deleting is a separate job from cancelling, and the terms say so directly. Section 4 warns that cancelling a subscription does not automatically delete the member profile, and that the profile stays visible to other users of the service after the billing has stopped.
The route for asking is the one the cancellation uses. Support is an on site form under the account section of the members area, with a category dropdown and a message box, and a chat bot sits alongside it. The site also publishes a complaints and content removal policy, which is the document that covers taking material down.
