MatureSexMeet

MatureSexMeet’s homepage sells one idea in four words: “Older women, real conversations.” Its terms of use reach for a different word. Section I states that the site “is intended and operated only for purposes of entertainment and fun and for no other purpose or purposes”, and a line later, “We aim to entertain and amuse you.”

Both sentences are the site’s own, published a click apart.

What Signing Up Actually Opens

The brand runs on the over-fifty niche and says so plainly. Its own FAQ answer reads: “The site is positioned for women 50 and over and the men who appreciate them. Profiles state real ages.” The headline over the signup panel is blunter: “Message Local Mature Women and Grannies for a Sex Date Tonight.”

An account costs nothing to open, and browsing costs nothing either. Messaging is the paid part, bought as bundles of credits rather than as a membership. Profile pages themselves are member-only, so a logged-out visitor sees a grid of names, ages and towns and no further.

Did Your Credits Get a Reply?

Spending credits is the only way to settle that, so the poll is for people who did. Vote, and the next person reads it before they buy a bundle.

The Audience It Claims for Itself

The signup panel carries the site’s own claim, “Over 1m people have already joined!” That is their figure, given without a date or a method, and no other number appears in the documents beside it.

What can be checked independently is age. The registry record puts the first registration at 16 May 2016 and the paid-up expiry in May 2027, which makes the brand ten years old. Registry record for maturesexmeet.com

The four shots are the lander, the signup step, section I of the terms and the FAQ answer on discretion. Those last two hold the lines quoted lower down, so they are worth opening big.

Credits, Not a Membership

The site states this twice. Paragraph 13(c) of the terms of use reads: “We offer pre-pay message bundles. There are no recurring fees or subscriptions. We cannot automatically take payment from your card. All payments are made proactively by yourself only.” The homepage says the same in its own words, “credits, not subscriptions”, and adds that “there are no monthly fees”.

By those words there is no renewal date and no notice period. The terms point at the site’s own Top-Up Now page for the schedule and incorporate it by reference, and that page sends anyone not logged in to the first signup step. Paragraph 13(a) settles the currency: amounts shown are in US dollars.

The FAQ carries the two hard money facts. On signing up: “Absolutely not! Signing up is completely free and without any costs.” On what a purchase looks like afterwards, under their heading “Will my purchase be discrete?”: “Any charges made on your credit card will appear under: “VTSUP.COM*US NORTHER””. The brand is not in that string and the company name is cut short inside it.

What Their Documents Put On the Record

Section I, paragraph 6 of the terms reserves the right to “post fictitious profiles, generate or respond to communications by means of automated programs or scripts that simulate or attempt to simulate your intercommunication with another real human being (though none really exists and any dialog is generated by programming)”, and to “employ or contract for the paid services of real persons who may interact with you as part of their compensated employment”. The same paragraph continues: “While these communications may seem genuine, authentic, and personal, they may be broadcast simultaneously to a large number of persons and possess none of these qualities.”

The way out of an account is written in two places that time it differently. The homepage FAQ block says “From your account page, at any time. Removal is immediate.” Section L.4 of the terms says “Cancellation will be effective within 48 hours”. Both of those are theirs.

The terms also link cancellation to a form on another website. Section C, paragraph 10 invites the reader to cancel at “this link”, and the address behind it is http://www.grannytofuck.com/contact.php. MatureSexMeet’s own contact page redirects a logged-out visitor to the signup step, while that other address serves a public form. For anyone who has not registered yet, the cancellation link in these terms opens a helpdesk belonging to a different site.

Refunds are set out twice, and the second time the product changes. Paragraph 14 reads, in capitals, “THE PURCHASE OF MESSAGE BUNDLES IS NORMALLY NON-REFUNDABLE, EXCEPT IF OUR CUSTOMER CARE DEPARTMENT WOULD DECIDE THAT A REQUEST FOR A REFUND IS JUSTIFIED”. Paragraph 15, three paragraphs after the clause saying there are no subscriptions, forfeits “any remaining or unused subscription”, while section L.4 forfeits “remaining messages you may have purchased” instead.

Asking for your data runs into a similar gap. The FAQ answer says “The e-mail address where you can send your request to can be found in our privacy statement.” The privacy policy carries no email address, no named data protection officer, and this instead: “An administration fee of $/£/€15 will be payable and, once this is settled, your request will be processed within 40 days.”

On who stands behind it, two sentences are needed rather than one. The site names “US Northen Limited, B1 Vantage Park, Hambrook, BA16 1GW” and publishes no company number anywhere. Companies House lists a US NORTHERN LIMITED, number 10966515, incorporated on 15 September 2017 and active, at B1 Vantage Park Old Gloucester Road, Hambrook, Bristol, BS16 1GW. The street, the building and the locality are the same; the spelling of the name and one letter of the postcode are not. That pairing is a match on name and address, not something the site asserts.

Questions People Ask Before They Join

How much does MatureSexMeet cost?

The terms set the mechanism rather than the amount: you buy bundles of messages up front, and the schedule of bundles lives on the site’s Top-Up Now page, which the terms treat as part of the agreement. That page answers a logged-out visitor by sending them to the first step of signup, so the figures arrive after registration rather than before it.

One thing the terms do fix is the currency. Paragraph 13(a) says every amount shown on the site is in United States dollars unless it says otherwise, which matters to anyone outside the US whose bank will convert it.

Is MatureSexMeet free to join?

Joining is, and so is looking. The FAQ answers the credit card question with “Absolutely not! Signing up is completely free and without any costs”, and the homepage says browsing profiles costs nothing. Sending a message is the part that draws on credits.

The real limit on an unpaid account is visibility. Profile pages are described as member-only, so without logging in you get the grid of names, ages and towns that the lander shows and nothing behind it.

Does MatureSexMeet renew automatically?

By its own terms, no. The clause is unusually direct: “There are no recurring fees or subscriptions. We cannot automatically take payment from your card. All payments are made proactively by yourself only.” The homepage repeats it as “there are no monthly fees”.

Read alongside that, the refund paragraph a little further down forfeits “any remaining or unused subscription” on termination, and section L.4 forfeits “remaining messages you may have purchased”. The first of those describes a product the same document says is not sold here.

What do the terms say about who writes the replies?

They say the site may write some of them. Section I, paragraph 6 reserves the right to post fictitious profiles and to answer or begin messages using automated programs or scripts, and it spells out in brackets that no real human being need exist behind that dialog. The same sentence reserves the right to pay real people to interact with members as part of their job.

It goes further on how those messages will read. They “may seem genuine, authentic, and personal” while being broadcast to a large number of people at once, and their contents “may appear to be true” while being “quite false”. The paragraph sits in section I of the agreement a member accepts at signup.

How do you delete a MatureSexMeet account?

Both documents point inside the account, and only one of them puts a clock on it. The homepage FAQ prints “Removal is immediate” and attaches no interval to it at all. Section L.4 of the terms attaches forty-eight hours, and notes that whatever the site takes down, anything search engines have already crawled takes longer to go.

There is a second route in the terms. Section C, paragraph 10 points at a cancellation link whose address is http://www.grannytofuck.com/contact.php, a form on a different website. The site’s own contact page redirects a logged-out visitor to signup, so that other address is the only one of the two anyone without an account can actually open.

Can you get money back from MatureSexMeet?

The default is no, printed in capitals: “THE PURCHASE OF MESSAGE BUNDLES IS NORMALLY NON-REFUNDABLE, EXCEPT IF OUR CUSTOMER CARE DEPARTMENT WOULD DECIDE THAT A REQUEST FOR A REFUND IS JUSTIFIED”. The paragraph after it says requests are handled case by case, and names one example of a justified one: “exceptional long periods of interruption of service”.

An unused balance is treated apart from a refund. On termination by either side, the terms say what is left over is lost, and section L.4 says that if the site stops all services without cause it may not compensate anyone for messages already bought. No fixed cooling-off window appears in these terms at all.

Will the charge show up with the site’s name on it?

No. The FAQ states that charges appear as “VTSUP.COM*US NORTHER”. The brand is absent from that string and the company name is truncated inside it, which is how the site answers its own question about discretion.

That string is also the only name attached to the money. No payment company is named anywhere in the site’s documents, which go no further than allowing that data may reach third parties such as payment providers.

Who runs MatureSexMeet?

The footer of every page and the first line of the terms give a name and an address: “US Northen Limited, B1 Vantage Park, Hambrook, BA16 1GW”. The terms add that the governing law of the document is the United Kingdom. No company number appears anywhere on the site, and the privacy policy names no data protection officer and carries no email address.

Searching the UK register on that name and address returns US NORTHERN LIMITED, company number 10966515, incorporated on 15 September 2017, active, at B1 Vantage Park Old Gloucester Road, Hambrook, Bristol, BS16 1GW. Same street, same building reference, same village. The site spells it “Northen” and gives the postcode as BA16 1GW, which is a Somerset code rather than the Bristol one. With no number published on the site, that pairing stays a match on name and address rather than a settled identity.

Real Conversations, or Entertainment and Fun?

Those are the site’s own two descriptions of itself, one sold on the homepage and one set out in section I of the terms. Anyone who spent credits here is the only person who can report which of the two the replies read like, and that is the one worth putting in the box underneath.

The rest belongs to members alone. Did you ever see what a bundle costs before your card details went in? When you went to cancel, did the link in the terms drop you on grannytofuck.com’s form, and did a helpdesk carrying another brand’s name write back to you? And weeks later, could you still place “VTSUP.COM*US NORTHER” on a statement? The comment form is open for any of it.
