MeetMyAge

MeetMyAge is one of those sites you have probably seen before you ever searched for it. It advertises hard at singles over 40, and the ads all sell the same promise: real people your age, close to you, ready to chat. That advertising push is exactly why so many people end up googling whether the site is legit before pulling out a card.

Here is the shape of it. MeetMyAge is a web only dating site aimed at the 40 plus crowd, run from Cyprus by Primula Capital Ltd, with a US company called MMA Digital Corp handling the American side. The same operator runs other dating brands, including the international site AsiaCharm.

The money side runs on two tracks at once. There is a Premium subscription that renews automatically until you cancel it, and on top of that a credits system for boosts, chat requests, and virtual gifts, with an optional auto refill that keeps topping your balance up.

Traffic Statistics

MeetMyAge does not publish member numbers, and at the time of this update we could not verify reliable third party traffic estimates for the domain, so we will not invent figures here.

What the public record does show is scale. The site has drawn several thousand reviews on Trustpilot alone, and the operator advertises heavily across social platforms at the over 40 demographic, mostly in the United States. That is not a small operation.

Package Costs

Signing up is free, and the free tier is deliberately tight. Free members can send 3 likes per day and 1 message to up to 10 chats per day, with basic filters only.

Premium unlocks unrestricted messaging and likes, advanced filters, and an ad free experience, and there is a higher tier called Premium Gold that removes the remaining limits. MeetMyAge does not publish its subscription prices on pages you can read before joining, and member reports mention charges around $79.99, so treat any number as a guide rather than gospel.

One thing their own help pages confirm plainly: the subscription renews automatically until you cancel it.

Credits are the second track, and the packages come from their own pricing article. Recent packages: 595 credits for $19.90, 1,550 for $29.90, and 2,950 for $39.90. Credits pay for profile boosts, chat requests, compatibility checks, and virtual gifts. Watch the checkout for the optional automatic refill, which tops up your credits by itself when they run low.

Cancelling, Refunds, and Account Deletion

A lot of people land on this page asking how to shut things off, so here is the process as documented in MeetMyAge’s own help center.

To cancel the subscription: open your Profile, go to Settings, open the Subscription tab, tap Active, then Subscription cancellation, then Unsubscribe. Premium features keep working until the period you already paid for runs out.

Refunds are not self serve. You have to email support@meetmyage.com and the rules live in their Membership Policy. They also list phone numbers, +1 (937) 745 2716 in the US and +44 20 453 84186 in the UK.

Account deletion is the odd one. The help center has no article for deleting an account at all. The closest option it documents is a Hide my profile toggle under Settings. Based on complaint records, actual deletion happens when you ask support directly, so if you want your data gone, put it in writing to their support email.

MeetMyAge holds an F rating with the Better Business Bureau, with 63 complaints filed over three years. The recurring themes in member reports are the instant wave of nearby likes after signup, identical opening messages from different profiles, and renewal charges people did not expect. The company responds that it does not use bots, that members are real users, and that the matching openers come from its Icebreakers template feature. One reviewer claiming to have worked as a chat moderator for the platform has alleged paid staff keep conversations going, though that is a single unverified account. Ratings across review platforms sit in the middle of the scale with sharply split experiences. We are not calling it either way.
