What Happened to NakedLocals?

NakedLocals turned up around 2018 as a white-label dating site, one of those skins built on a shared platform and pushed out under a fresh name. It never had much of a following. Traffic was thin, the site authority score was low, and the whole thing ran on the familiar trial-to-recurring billing setup: a cheap few-day trial that quietly rolled you into a pricey monthly charge if you forgot to cancel.

Sites like that tend to have a short shelf life, and NakedLocals was no exception. It limped along into late 2025, and then the domain simply stopped resolving. Today nakedlocals.com does not load at all. No redirect, no parked page, just gone. Whoever was running the skin pulled the plug and let the name lapse.

No great loss. If you landed here looking for a site that actually has people on it, skip the ghost towns and start with one that is still standing.
