OnlyHookup Review: What Happened to the Affair Site
The site stopped working during 2026. The domain still resolves, so it can look alive for a moment, but there is no longer a server behind it.
What Happened to OnlyHookup?
OnlyHookup ran on a simple promise. The tagline on its last working homepage was “Have an affair tonight”, and the whole signup flow was built around that rather than around dating in general.
It was still going in the autumn of 2025. The Internet Archive’s last working capture is dated 6 October 2025, showing the site complete with its signup form. Sometime after that the server behind it stopped answering. The domain still resolves and Cloudflare still responds in front of it, but the origin returns nothing, which is why it can look alive in a browser tab for a second before failing.
We checked from more than one country before writing this off, because a site can look dead from one place and load fine from another. It fails everywhere.
There was no closure notice, no email to members and no redirect to a successor site. It simply stopped responding, which is how most of the names on our closed sites list have gone.
Where to go instead
The affair niche is dominated by a handful of much larger names, and OnlyHookup was never one of them. It carried very little independent traffic data at any point in its life.

Any chance of meeting the model on the front page? I’m talking about the cutie in the lingerie.. other than that, nothing else positive on this site. Used it for a couple of weeks, tried to set up some casual dates but with no luck.
