RealDatesNow

Type RealDatesNow into Google from Britain, Australia or the States and you can land on any one of seventeen different front doors. The brand runs sixteen country subdomains alongside the main address, in ten languages, from datinguk, datingau and datingie in English through to datingfr, datingpl and datingcz. The English and German faces carry no language switcher and no hreflang tag declaring each other, so the door you arrive at is the one the search engine picked. That turns out to matter, because the English doors and the German ones do not carry identical paperwork.

Behind all seventeen it is one product on one platform. You register free, build a profile with a photo and browse members near you, and then there is a paid Premium membership that the terms treat as a second contract running alongside the free one rather than an upgrade to it. There are no credits, coins or token packs anywhere in it. The English terms draw the free line at “predefined messages”, so a free member picks from canned openers and writing your own words is the part you pay for. English builds sit at datingie, datinguk, datingau, datingnz and datingza. German builds sit at the main www address, datingde, datingat and datingch.

The Numbers RealDatesNow Publishes

No membership figure. The English homepage prints “Thousands of new members each day” as one of six bullets, with no number attached to it, and no total appears in the terms, the help page or the imprint.

What is countable is the footprint. Seventeen faces answer on realdatesnow.com, each with its own numbered project slot on the platform’s media host. Four of the five English builds serve a byte identical homepage and differ from datingie only by the domain string in the copy.

Four shots of the German language build: the homepage, the help page, the login screen and the terms. The German terms shot is the document the English sections below are compared against.

How The Paid Membership Works

Payment is taken up front and in full. English section 4.1 reads: “The fee for fee-based Services is to be paid in advance to qualidates and shall be collected in full using the payment procedure selected in the ordering process if this amount can be covered by the means of payment given.” Section 3.2 says the price, the payment method and the length of the commitment are explained to you inside the order process.

Section 4.2 covers a charge that will not go through in one piece. If the full amount cannot be taken, “qualidates reserves the right to collect this amount in separate instalments at its own discretion.” One failed charge can become several smaller attempts.

Section 4.3 covers non payment. The debt goes to a collection service provider, the user agrees to carry that provider’s costs, and the English version adds bank charges for a chargeback, a credit card cancellation or a returned direct debit caused by the user.

Two things a member meets rather than reads. Section 5.4 says the free membership carries on after a Premium membership ends and has to be cancelled separately. And the English help page, on the panel where you delete your account, says plainly: “Note: Premium membership does not end automatically when you delete your profile.”

What The Paperwork Says, And Which Paperwork You Get

The English and German faces have their own legal documents, and three things in the English set differ from the German set.

The first is the cancellation route. On the German builds, datingde.realdatesnow.com/cancellation returns a working online cancellation form that needs no login, and www does the same. On the English builds, the address datingie.realdatesnow.com/cancellation returns a redirect to the homepage, and so do the same paths on datinguk, datingau and datingza. The English footer links Help, Terms, Privacy, Imprint, Withdraw contract and Affiliates, with no cancellation link among them, and the English help page carries four questions, none about cancelling. English section 5.6 names the routes as email to support@qdhelp.ch or termination by post, and links a printable form at /pdf/cancellation.pdf.

The second is refunds. The German section 4.1 carries a second sentence promising a pro rata refund of the unused period if a paid contract ends early. The English section 4.1 is the single sentence quoted above and stops there. On the English face the fourteen day right of revocation at section 14 is the refund mechanism the document states, backed by a working form at /withdrawal.

The third is notice. English section 5.3 caps the initial term at two years and says that if it is not cancelled at the end of that term the contract extends for an indefinite period. Notice is fourteen days on terms of a month or less and thirty days on longer terms. Once it has rolled into the indefinite period, the English document does not state a notice period at all.

No document on either face admits to fictitious, animated or operator run profiles. The English terms open by offering contact with “real, like-minded women, couples and men”, and section 6.1 lets them block a profile for deliberately false information while noting that the block does not affect their claim to your payment.

The operator checks out. The English imprint names Qualidates AG at Turmstrasse 18, 6312 Steinhausen, and the Swiss commercial register entry matches it character for character: CHE-179.979.549, Canton Zug, active, first registered on 2 April 2019 with CHF 100,000 of paid up capital. Verisign’s domain record puts the domain registration on 16 April 2019, fourteen days later, through a German registrar. Eight other dating sites name the same company in their own imprints, among them privatemilf.com, meinesextreffen.com, bumstreff.de and sofort.dating.

What English Speakers Ask About RealDatesNow

Is RealDatesNow available in English?

Yes, on five subdomains. The English builds are datingie, datinguk, datingau, datingnz and datingza, each on realdatesnow.com, and they run fully in English rather than through a translate widget. The main www address is German, and so are datingde, datingat and datingch. Seventeen faces answer in total across ten languages, including French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Norwegian, Danish and Czech.

Nothing on the site moves you between them. There is no language selector in the header or the footer of the English or German faces, and neither carries hreflang markup declaring the other as an alternate, which is how a search result can drop an English speaker on a German page. The English homepages also print a few unfilled template keys where copy should be, including the strings “layer_remarketing_headline” and “layer_dataprotection_body”.

Who is behind RealDatesNow?

Qualidates AG, a Swiss company seated at Turmstrasse 18, 6312 Steinhausen in Canton Zug. The English imprint names it directly and gives the commercial register number CHE-179.979.549, along with a VAT line reading CHE-179.979.549 MWST that the German imprint text does not show.

That number resolves in the Swiss federal commercial register to an active Aktiengesellschaft, first entered in the register on 2 April 2019 with CHF 100,000 of fully paid share capital, and the registered street address matches the imprint exactly. The same company is named on the imprints of eight other dating brands, and on the affiliate programme at maximum.dating. Every country face uses the same support address, support@qdhelp.ch.

How do you cancel a Premium membership on the English site?

Section 5.6 of the English terms gives two routes: an email to support@qdhelp.ch, or termination by post using a printable form the document links at /pdf/cancellation.pdf. The email needs to carry your full name, the service used, the email address you registered with and your username, and the terms require the notice to be in text form to take effect.

There is no cancellation link in the English footer and no cancellation question on the English help page. The path /cancellation on datingie, datinguk, datingau and datingza redirects to the homepage. On the German builds that same path serves a working online form which asks for gender, date of birth and email, then sends a confirmation mail you have twenty four hours to act on.

Whichever route you use, the contractual notice period still applies on top. A free membership is separate: it has no notice period and can be ended at any time, but it does not end just because the paid one did.

Does a RealDatesNow Premium membership renew by itself?

It does. Under English section 5.3, the term you buy is the initial term, capped at two years, and if you do not cancel by the end of it the contract carries on for an indefinite period rather than expiring.

The deadline depends on the length you bought. On a term of one month or less you need to give fourteen days notice. On anything longer it is thirty days. Once the contract has rolled over into the indefinite period, the English document does not state a notice period for ending it. The German terms print an extra sentence at that point which the English version does not carry.

If you delete your profile, does the billing stop?

No, and the site says so itself. The delete panel on the English help page carries the line “Note: Premium membership does not end automatically when you delete your profile.”

The paid membership and the free membership are two separate contracts in the terms, and section 5.4 spells out that the free one continues after a Premium one ends unless the cancellation notice says otherwise. So removing the profile is not a cancellation, and the paid contract has to be ended through the routes in section 5.6 before the renewal deadline passes.

Do you need to hand over card details to register?

No. The English help page states that registration is free of charge, does not require you to enter any payment details, and needs only a valid email address. Registering gives you a profile with a photo and the ability to see other members.

Card details enter the picture only when you buy Premium. The privacy policy lists what that purchase collects: name, password, payment method, debit or credit card details and billing address. Under section 3.2 the terms put the price, the payment method and the length of the commitment inside the order process itself.

Can you get money back after paying?

The English terms state one mechanism. Section 14 gives a fourteen day right of revocation from the day the contract is concluded, with repayment due within fourteen days of the notice arriving, made to the same payment method you originally used and with no charge for the repayment itself. There is a working online form for it at /withdrawal, which asks for your name, address, contract details, username and email.

Two things narrow it. Section 14 also says that if you ask them to begin the paid service before the revocation window closes, and agree at the same time, you forfeit the right of revocation. And the English terms contain no early termination refund clause, so a cancellation taking effect part way through a paid term is not covered by a refund provision in that document. The German terms do carry one, at section 4.1.

Tell The Rest Of Us What Actually Happened

Vote in the poll and leave a comment. Which country door did you sign up through, and was anybody behind it near enough to meet? A free account only sends the predefined messages, so say whether a canned opener ever brought back something a person had actually written. And if you deleted your profile expecting the billing to stop with it, say what happened next.
